Luisa Omielan’s DEAD FUNNY Comedy Gala

This is a heads up and a blatant plug for an upcoming show that I am shooting for the wonderful, brilliant and extremely funny Luisa Omielan.

Birmingham’s Big Comedy Gala is happening on Wednesday 28 February at the Hippodrome Theatre.

Join Luisa Omielan (What Would Beyoncé Do?!, Comic Relief, Live at the Apollo and Thigh Gap!) as she presents the coolest comics on the circuit for a one night bonanza!

Confirmed special guests include a who’s who of the very best of British Comedy including Sara Pascoe, Mo Gilligan, Iain Stirling, Nish Kumar, Tom Allen, Suzi Ruffell, Ellie Taylor, Tez Ilyas, Jen Brister, Aaron Twitchen and Dan Nightingale.

All proceeds go to Helena’s Hospice Foundation; supporting hospices in the Midlands and nationwide which Luisa set up following her mother’s untimely death last year.

This is a cause that is very dear to my heart. I’m sure I am not alone at being eternally grateful for the compassion of those who care in hospices - which receive no government funding whatsoever, which, in my personal opinion is a travesty and one of the biggest injustices of the modern era. They are 100% reliant on charity and provide such a vital service.

Please, support this very worthy and deserving cause by buying a ticket or four, or at the very least spread the word and tweet about it, share this post - whatever you can do to sell this out.
